Paul Bertrand is a Partner of Tarsus CFO Services, LLC. He has worked in a variety of industries holding senior positions with companies ranging from start-ups to large multinational companies. His expertise is in accounting and audit, operational planning, internal controls, information systems, and acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to Tarsus, Paul served as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for Allied Worldwide, a $2 billion international moving, storage and logistics business. While at Allied, he directed all aspects of the financial planning and reporting functions, led the financial due diligence team for a $70 million acquisition and was instrumental in developing the overall corporate development strategy for an affiliated start-up company.

Before joining Allied, Paul served as Chief Financial Officer of Triax International, Inc., a closely held investment management company specializing in acquiring and operating small and mid-sized companies. While at Triax, Paul managed all financial aspects of the organization, including directing all mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he was intimately involved in the operations of the Triax owned companies and was instrumental in designing and implementing the “back-office” functions necessary to manage the many portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Triax International, Inc., Paul served in a number of financial management and audit positions with Angel Fire Resort and KPMG Peat Marwick. BBA with honors - Accounting, Southern Methodist University.

Paul Burns is a Partner of Tarsus CFO Services, LLC. He has worked with companies in various industries from an investment banking capacity, an ownership perspective and as a member of senior management. His expertise is in finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, banking, operational planning, and transaction structuring and negotiations.

Prior to Tarsus, Paul was the Chief Financial Officer of Moveline, Inc., a technology company serving the moving and storage industry. Hired as the sixth employee, he was instrumental in growing the company to nearly 100 employees within nine months.

Before joining Moveline, Paul spent four years negotiating, structuring and executing the acquisition and sale of private companies. He was a key member of a small team of professionals that managed the Private Equity Group at George K. Baum & Company, a Midwestern-based investment banking firm. In that role he provided Chief Financial Officer services to a number of portfolio companies.

For the three previous years, Paul worked on merger and acquisition transactions for the investment banking group at Salomon Brothers, now a unit of Citigroup. BS with honors - Finance, Kansas State University.

Ben Trevathan is a Partner of Tarsus CFO Services, LLC. Ben has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking and operational management in a variety of industries. Ben currently is serving as Chairman of AmeriMove, Inc., an agent for Allied Van Lines based in the Southeast.

Prior to Tarsus, Ben was SVP of Allied Worldwide, Inc., which is now known as Sirva, Inc. During this time he led the efforts of Sirva to find and acquire CRS, Inc., a transaction that propelled Sirva to the fourth largest company in the relocation services industry.

Before joining Sirva, Ben was a founding Partner and Managing Director of George K. Baum Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Kansas City. During his tenure there, he oversaw the strategy of several investments at the board of director level, including serving as Chairman.

Prior to George K. Baum, he was VP of Salomon Brothers Inc in New York, where he spent eight years advising financial institutions and private equity firms on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising. His clients included Salomon Inc, GECC, Mobil, KKR and Bank of America. Mr. Trevathan has a MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
